Press release for immediate release Newquay, Cornwall, 30th May 2014. Newquay’s, Harbour Rest Café, celebrates after getting the stamp of approval from Newquay Town Council for its drinks license. A small family run business, based at the top of South Hill in Newquay, successfully got the seal of approval from the council to serve Beers and Wines earlier this week. The Café, which boasts an excellent fish menu and homemade favourites, such as freshly cooked breakfasts, deliciously unique specialty burgers and our tasty selection of freshly baked cakes Tracey, owner of the Harbour Rest, said, “We’re really pleased the council have given us the green light. It means our customers can enjoy a glass of wine or beer with their lunch or evening meal. Our fresh fish menu has proved extremely popular, and with the harbour just a short walk away, we have access to some the best daily catches. Tracey, along with her partner David, took over the café, nearly 3 years ago, and more recently took over the running of the fish bar next door. Offering a range of mouth watering homemade cakes and Scones and freshly baked bread sourced from the award winning Chough Bakery, Tracey continues to support her initial aim of sourcing her produce locally, supporting local fisherman and butchers. “We like to think we offer a range of good quality home cooked meals at affordable prices.
